“5 Star Wedding Planner Cristina created a wonderfully elegant, relaxed, sophisticated wedding event for my husband and I we could not be happier with the outcome. We brought Cristina on to plan our event (at a hotel in NY) in early September 2008, and the wedding was mid November we had less than two and a half months to plan, but I would not have changed a thing.
The venue was perfect and exactly what we wanted, the food was wonderful, and I am still getting calls and emails telling me what a special, unique wedding we had, like nothing many of our guests had been to. Cristina has a knack for providing choices that work for her client, and the ability to simplify situations and move everyone forward. She never told me that there was something we could not do, and was always very supportive of my decisions, while steering me in directions that she thought would work, as needed. “A wedding planning gem… Even for a small wedding of 40 guests in a small Mexico town, we realized that it needs just as much work, if not more, than a larger wedding in the city. In comes Cristina Verger… her professionalism, expertise, and wide vision were key in the most enjoyable time of our lives.
From the beginning, she understood the big picture, listened to our needs, and offered amazing advice and alternatives. She is an expert planner who has plenty of ideas of her own, but always understands that this is your day and allows you to have your own opinion, which sets her apart as a true event planner vs just any other planner. We had big ideas for our 3 day event, many of which were quite difficult to execute in a small, quiet town, but she handled each challenge with grace and an effortless ease.
With her history in catering, she was able to create exciting menus in 3 different places, all highlighting the fresh food of the area. It is no easy feat to negotiate and befriend all the vendors we had to find in Mexico, but Cristina will use her resourceful nature to always come through with the best. The NYC based vendors she recommended are also tops, and she chose the perfect photographer and videographer for our wedding. Not only are they talented, but also fit in perfectly during our time in Mexico.
Our wedding was a dream from beginning to end, without a single worry from our end. We were both completely relaxed, knowing Cristina would handle everything perfectly, which she did. We also cannot forget the engagement party we had already half way planned here in the city when we hired Cristina, and she took this on as well and proved herself as an event planning gem at the eleventh hour. We had secured beautiful food and flowers from a well known florist within a matter of days!

Just to give an example, we were married at the top of Aspen Mountain. Cristina had this idea to get alp horns to play outside as guests arrived to the venue. Alp horns are basically those ricola horns. As our guests arrived atop the mountain the first thing they saw were these two gents in tuxedos playing soft, warm music on these massive horns. It was a great way to set the
tone and an amazing surprise for our guests, all of whom were totally captivated by it. That’s just one special touch Cristina added that we never would have considered otherwise.
